Any and EVERY veteran who is a member of Congress in either chamber should be forewarned that IF they agree to the funding IN ANY WAY of this travesty or participate in any way, even by just attending the parade, they WILL be voted OUT of office at the earliest possible opportunity. It's bad enough that active duty military members will be expected to salute this excuse for a commander in chief as they are forced to march by his "viewing stand". The only "parade" Trump deserves is the one marching him into a federal prison for inciting an insurrection!
I checked, and in this Congress, there are 72 Republican and 28 Democratic veterans. I'd be willing to wager that none of the Republican veterans will object to Trump's autocratic-themed military birthday parade. And, this is despite the fact that Special Counsel Jack Smith, charged Trump with four different violations of federal criminal law: Conspiracy to defraud the United States; conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding; obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding; and conspiracy against rights...
As hard as I try to understand these veterans (my late father and his three brothers all served in WWII), it's inexplicable to me that anyone who bravely served our country in the military, doesn't have the courage to speak out against a lawless president who is destroying our democracy. But, then I also believe it's a travesty, that the Supreme Court, "the guardian of the Constitution, and the highest court in the land," not only gave Trump "a free pass for his past crimes, but has set a dangerous precedent for all future presidents." And, that will be the legacy of Chief Justice Roberts, and the other five conservative justices who supported this decision, and are now responsible for every crime Trump commits. Shame on them!

I have two questions and two answers: 1. What is Trump's budget based on? Others already have guesstimated the parade will cost more than $100 million. 2. For whom will there be a value worth $45M?
1. According to CBS News, Trump has spent $200 billion more in his first 100 days, than he spent in his first year in office during his first presidency. Why would we trust this budget?
2. We are the United States of America, not the United States of Republicans and MAGAs, There is no value in this for me and any Democratic I know. Actually, we all find it to be self-serving, narcissistic, dishonorable, and deplorable. And, we all vote "NO."
