This was so insightful. I now rely on Jen and Norm and other great substack spokespersons for

reliable and informative news of the day. Bye, bye Washington Post and New York Times.

Of course, this whole debacle is the result of Don the Con walking away from the Joint Comprehensive Plan. Prior to that, Iran's nuclear weapons program was slowed. Now it's all ahead full.

Thanks, Donnie.

It's telling that Ned Price says nothing of that fact that American presidents have all given Israel free reign to oppress and subjugate the Palestinian population in lands it illegally occupies with no consequence.

Why is it that Israel, the most belligerent country in the region, who is now either actively attacking or occupying land in (at least) four other countries, allowed to have nuclear weapons without comment?

Why is the bipartisan support for a country that is actively committing genocide against the trapped population it has already violently oppressed for years never called into question?

Why is it of so little concern that Israel's apartheid regime in the West Bank continues, with one of the largest 'settlement' plans in years announced recently, and one of the biggest military incursions into the region in years now underway?

Why is there no call for 'regime change' in the country run by an indicted war criminal, who, along with his even more extremist allies, is responsible for untold suffering and destruction, for the deaths of 60,000+ Palestinians in just the past twenty months, for the killing of starving Gazans trying to get scraps of food?

Why is there not a word about Israel's ongoing crimes anywhere in The Contrarian, a journal that claims to be 'unflinching, unapologetic, and unwavering in its commitment to truth-telling'?

Thank you. Very informative. A disaster is unfolding that the Trump administration is helping to create and is ill-prepared to respond to. Ugh.

Another interview with an expert who ignores the IAEA report - I thought the Contrarian was going to avoid presenting misinformation? https://www.npr.org/2025/06/12/nx-s1-5431395/iran-nuclear-enrichment-un-compliance

To have allowed the hollowing out of the State Department via DOGE or other #47 regime personnel greatly increases the risk to our military and civilians. A strong State Department is essential. With an incompetent President, worst ever Secretary of Defense and other unqualified cabinet members I will cross my fingers the 30000 lb bunker busting bomb only we have is not used. This administration is in way over their heads and their ego likely won't let them listen to those best suited to advise ... and, oh, BTW... let's not forget the ICE/brownshirt actions still underway at home. (PS - This was a very good interview!)

Trump is clueless he will put so many people abroad in needless danger. I don’t think there’s anybody in this regime that has enough competence to weigh the pros and cons against the facts. After all they use signal to communicate war plans. Who’s to say they won’t pull some more stupid $@^+.

Do t blame the diplomats. He fired so many and hamstrung the rest. He is the problem. The Stare Dept. needs to be respected and empowered to do the job!

Nice to see Ned again. Hope he’ll be back soon, especially with Iran and the rest of the Middle East in such prominence again.
