If you want to understand Trump’s motives listen (or interview) Dr. Bandy Lee, MD, forensic psychiatrist who published The dangerous Case of Donald Trump and other books about Trump from a psychological perspective. She gets to the core of the issue, and why others such as Musk are drawn to him.

I was just about to write the same comment. I have read The Lucky Loser twice. It historically and factually outlines how everything Trump touches, he destroys. What was missing on this interview was why he destroys businesses, people, and admires dictators. The Dangeros Case of Donald Trump by Dr. Lee and her contributors offers disturbing insights into the mind, behaviors and motivations thar drive this deranged epitome of Evil. Thank you for your comment!

The Felon will never fire president Musk. Musk has the money and power to keep GOP Congressional members in line. With the help of the six Christian Nationalists on the Supreme Court, the Felon is attempting to make America an authoritarian theocracy with the Felon as the leader and the American oligarchs running the Country.

The Felon is hoping the American people rise up against him so he can declare Martial Law and proclaim himself as dictator "only until Martial Law can be lifted".

Great interview! Susanne and Russ have analyzed and really understand the orange felon, wannabe dictator.

Hearing the orange turd today as he predicts meeting with Zelensky on Friday, his speech is pressured, tangential, delusional, unaware, disorganized - obviously psychotic. Unfortunately his cabinet who can get rid of him are in the same state of being. Maybe not psychotic, but definitely dumb as doo doo. All I can think of is that the difference between now and 1938 is, believe it or not, the internet. Anything orange needs to go.

Trump's crypto offering smells a lot like a way to illicitly route dark money to him directly. One can imagine people wanting to curry favor with Trump purchasing Trump crypto as payola.

Trump’s crypto coin, launched on eve of his inauguration, looks like a way to funnel money surreptitiously to him. Apparently, others have seen it this way, as well. https://www.instagram.com/share/BAEfulngx9

I find that the Prosperity Gospel a la Trump is how a lot of my neighbors who are Republican Born Again Christians see the world. They think that the Think method works. The denial is palpable (God could not have misled us re Trump) It’s disturbing

Musk's antics allow 45 to go about his business of graft and grift without being as noticed as he might be otherwise. As long as FElon allows 45 to stay behind the curtain and rake in the dollars, he will be useful to him.

It's funny Jen used the phrase "thought process" applied to Trump.

A fun, interesting interview. It reminded me of something I heard during 1.0 ... someone was sharing a memory of DJT's younger days, when DJT met the famous sportscaster Howard Cosell. After the meeting, Cosell was said to have commented something to the effect of, "Never have I met a person so fortunate to have been born into wealth".
