What really, really makes me crazy is that the republicans in Congress are the ones with the real power. They could reverse the tables so quickly on the Felon. They have handed him power on a silver platter. I totally blame them, because without their support, the Felon is powerless, weak, but still corrupt to the bones.

Cruel and inhumane, especially for the pro-life party with the christian values. If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny.

Gratuitous cruelty, thy name is Repugnican't.

The cruelty is not a side-effect. Rather it's the point of the whole exercise!

The worst part of this Big Pile of Incoherent Slop and Cruelty is that all the bad parts aren't really scheduled to take effect until....after the mid-terms.

Now why, do you suppose, that is? What could *possibly* explain that timing? Oh, I wonder, what could the motive be for that?

That's what we have to be asking people every day now. The answers practically scream themselves. It's up to us to be the megaphones explaining that, or all is lost.

No thought given to what lower-middle and lower class people could afford, or not. No thought given to what the elderly or infirm are supposed to do. In recent years news articles have brought up the greater need for nursing homes, retiree care, etc. than currently available as our populace ages. No thought to medical care we all need--we worked for years expecting Medicare and Social Security to help us survive as we age. The poor and disabled counted on our nation to help as it could. The blank-blank evil Repubs are happy to have no care for anyone but themselves and fake religion.

Absolutely no idea how Republicans justify this cruelty, sleep at night, or face their constituents. Oh, wait - they hide from their constituents.

And when they celebrate these cruelties, it's evil and obscene.

"McCook-based Community Hospital said it is shutting down its clinic in Curtis, a town of about 900 people. The Curtis Medical Center has been in operation for more than 30 years."

I'd bet my last buck that the overwhelming majority of those 900 people who voted last November cast their ballots for Don the Con.

So now they're getting exactly what they voted for, even if they were too ignorant (dare I say 'stupid') to know they were voting for it! My sympathies for them are limited.

"It’s just cruel. There is no other word for it."

There's a firm grasp of the obvious!

So then, what can we do about it? Call our representatives? My representative, Ilhan Omar, is fully aware of how cruel it is, and I believe she is doing everything humanly possible to stop it. I could call her office every day from now until Kingdom Come, but the Dems have no power, and the Trumpian Republican members of Congress don't even accept calls from individuals who are not their constituents.

I feel completely powerless in this moment. :(

Is it still "too soon" to say that this trump fellow is a horrible person?
