On this Presidents’—or as we’re calling it, Contrarians’—Day, The Contrarian is a little more than one month old and the proud publisher of over 200 pieces of unflinching, incisive content in defense of democracy.
I would be so happy to subscribe to each of the founders Substacks. If I did though, I wouldn’t have money to support anything else. Glad I can catch y’all here at The Contrarian and thank you for keeping us informed and helping us analyze the madness.
FYI- I subscribe to the Contrarian as well. When you subscribe it’s only one subscription, $10. Most subscriptions it’s the journalist you subscribe to. Like you I can’t afford to subscribe to so many. I’m retired on low income. I’m thinking that’s where the confusion is. What makes this one of best beside a couple others. You have many others under one roof. Also, if you can’t afford it. The contrarian will help if you can’t afford. I have one others I subscribe to one journalist as well. I have another subscription that waives my payment. You just have to ask.
A serious question from a very concerned citizen. How can I further support this publication and legal efforts to thwart the broligarchy?
P.S. I’m an immigrant and naturalised citizen and a big difference between me and many Trump supporters is I took an oath to “support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic” . . . and I meant it.
About the podcasts in general, as well as the interviews and other video things -- just me and my personal preferences, but I much prefer to read. I wish you included more reading material along with the audio/video.
There is so much material I like the audio as much as possible as I can multi task and do chores or exercise as I stay informed.. 🙏🏼 thanks for collecting so many of my faves!
It's helpful to listen to David Remnick at The New Yorker's discussion with Anthony Romero., of the ACLU. They think we are in a constitutional crisis and if PINO (president in name only) and his maga administration refuse to obey the law we may have to shut down the government. We have to pour our support into the candidates running for the House in April, but unfortunately that's over a month away and every day we're confronted with chaos coming out of DC. People are just surrendering to PINO & Musk. The National Weather Service changed their maps to read Gulf of America, and so did Google. The Mexican President may sue the administration. She knows what's going on. What's he goig to try next, rename us The United States of t---p? Try to sell CA back to Mexico? Why haven't we heard from Chuck Schumer? So disappointing, disturbing and sad.
Unfortunately insanity is replacing the rule of law in the United States. I will only vote for candidates who stand for democracy and the rule of law. If we don’t fight for the constitution then no one else will. This is my pledge.

You can subscribe to all of us for free. You may not have access to all the posts, etc., you but you can still sign up and at least get weekly emails!
