It is beyond insane the sheer number of ways Trump and his minions are trying to kill us. I had not thought about food safety since reading some initial reporting about it and it's just another on the list. Any one of these things would have sunk a normal presidency in normal times.
I knew that RFK Jr was the wrong person at the wrong time for America.
When (not if) someone dies because of a decision he made I will not blame anyone else but him.
His brain is obviously fried from previous years when he was an addict and alcoholic. Trump hired this person to distract from Trump’s wild ravings and actions. It seems to be working.
I've been saying for years that they're hellbent on killing people (well, some of us) in any way they can, and I'm still curious why. They breathe the same air we do, drink the same water, eat the same food, need the same healthcare (at least they can afford that). What is the end game? Last man standing with the most money wins? Who will even care if everyone else and the world is gone. It's insane and, frankly, sad that they have such disregard for life, including their own. They must hate themselves as much as they hate us.
I'm very happy that it's the beginning of Farmers' Market season in Minnesota. I feel that the food there is safer than from the big food chain stores. Another safer alternative (which won't help low income people or those living too far away) are food coops. But these choices will only be available to some people, and not the majority. The movements to grow produce communally and start coops should become more popular in these scary times. I just hope so! Thank you for the reminder to all of us of the new dangers in our food supply. Just another day in trumpworld - a very sad place to live.
RFK, Jr. is a complete sham and doesn't know what the heck he is talking about. I can't wait to see someone put him on national TV with one of our national treasures like Dean Ashish Jha who could make mince-meat of Kennedy, who is an utter fool who lies to Congressional Committees.

We have to restore every iota, and then some, of the safety regime that has been so painstakingly assembled over this last century since the publication of The Jungle. The unconstitutional and illegal actions of Trump/Musk must be reversed!!! Thank you for this recording of the destruction for use in the near future to resurrect the system and pursue accountability!!!
So many things we had the privilege of taking for granted are disappearing at the speed of light. After this current regime does away with its citizens who will be left to blame but the instigators?
I had the same grocery store anxiety yesterday. Ended up buying organic even though it is more expensive.
It absolutely pisses me off that this government is abandoning all the safety measures of our food supply.
I feel fortunate and grateful to be able to afford other healthier choices where available.
