Everything felt so much better Saturday, having participated in a really uplifting protest event, and reading all about the big gatherings that happened all over the country. And now reading all of the things that he’s managed to do since then, it does feel hopeless. But I’m committed to going on and doing everything I can. I can’t wait for the next big event to go to.

I think we need to realize that most of what he's done since Saturday is a reaction to what happened Saturday - when his GloriousDear Leader parade flopped and thousands of No Kings rallies here and around the world were larger than anyone expected. Saturday inflicted a major narcissistic injury on the world's most thin-skinned narcissist. I hear there will be another No Kings rally in July.

Yes, I agree with that. But it scares the hell out of me with the Republicans are up to trying to mess with the voting machines, what must has taken away with him who knows, and Thiel and Plantir, the voting machines and all that. I’m agreeing with somebody who said maybe we need to go back to paper.

Trump's desire to project the image of a strongman after Saturday's humiliation by saber rattling at Iran is completely fracturing his base. He's caught between how badly he wants to help Israel with bunker buster bombs and the need to keep his base united ahead of the mid-terms. I love this for him.
