What is so great about The Contrarian (mostly) is that guests are not interrupted after two sentences, or two paragraphs. I loved this interview! Thank you!
Left out of part of the discussion about funding science is that the money goes to train professionals who then work in academia and the private sector and government labs. It isn't only the inventions and scientific discoveries.
I saw some criticisms in other comments of video interviews. Some people said they don’t watch them. This interview is exactly why the Contrarians need to continue doing them—he makes the material fascinating and entertaining too!
This was such an enjoyable and thought provoking interview. I wish I could put it on my social media. This subject needs to be explained to the American people in this simple manner.

Great interview, thanks! Justin Wolfers is a favorite!
Always come away from interviews with Justin, better informed and entertained at the same time. Great discussion! Thank-you!
