Rocky is a handsome boy ❤️ Looks like he has a little Russian Blue in him.

That was my thought as well. The shape of his nose and mouth, that luxurious coat. It's hard to see the color of his eyes, but it looks like they may be the typical green. He's a little larger than usual, but he likes pizza, so that could explain it . . .

And Russian Blues are known to be teddy bears.

I once had a Russian Blue. He had small oval shaped paws and a trim muscular body with green eyes. And yes that velvety coat.

Looks like a bruiser but he's a pussycat. Vote Blue, buddy!

My vet has labeled my grey cat an American Short Hair. He could be Rocky's younger brother. I have learned that grey cats are just the most wonderful beings on earth. Loving, goofy, soft spoken (mine has ended up locked in the spare room over a weekend while I was gone because he just quietly settled onto a chair, locked in closets for hours, and once jumped into a drawer and ended up locked in there too!) You are lucky to have had him for such a long time. It must be his health diet. What a doll.

That happens to Rocky all the time too! We have to leave a sign on all the closet doors when we have guests or cleaners come to never close them all the way!

They are brothers of a different mother, for sure.

Love the grey cats. Looks like my boy Scotty who lived to be 17. He is a wonderful boy and looks like he is really happy too.

Despite Rocky's selfcare shortcomings, he's a handsome guy and definitely well fed.

okay! He is so funny, or his owner is so funny, or both! I, too, have a 15 or older cat -- who knows? She showed up on my front porch mat and moved in. Thanks so much for sharing this. It made me smile!

Hello Rocky! Aren't you wonderful! Great to see a cat here as the Pet of the Week. My mom's lived with cats...all adopted...all of her life until just recently. And, I love cats. Our last cat, Clooney, recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge this past July at age 18. So loving, gentle, loyal and intelligent. How we miss him.

Thank you for all your hard work trying to keep your human sane, loved, and able to laugh esp. in these hard times.

I'll stick my neck out and say Barack is either whole or a major part Russian Blue. Great cats! I had one named Bainbridge many years ago... a real character!
