There is no red line for Trumps administration. They are reckless, unethical, ruthless, and entirely unprincipled. They have probably shared with enemy countries (Russia for instance) information that compromises our national security, tarnishes our reputation, and makes enemies of our former allies. Republicans in Congress have shown a complete unwillingness to regard anything Trump and staff do, as something that needs to be addressed. Mike Johnson today was talking about taking out our lower Federal Court system. Regardless of the hearings that are occuring today, nothing is going to be done. The last line of defense will be the voters, who must vote everyone in this criminally inclined administration out of office.

The Felon shared information, compromising national security, long before these incompetent boobs joined this administration.

A Cabinet of unqualified, stupid, incompetent, deluded people. It's as if their leader went out of his way to scrape the bottom of every discarded bin in the alley. Republican Senators are even worse because they know better and yet welcomed in these creatures of disaster.

Getting such unqualified and incompetent people to serve at the highest levels in this administration was the whole point. He wanted yes men and women who would unquestionably follow his orders in the name of advancing his authoritarian agenda and destroying our institutions, regardless of the cost to the American people, our allies and citizens around the world. The Republicans in Congress have inexplicably decided to enable all of this even though it entails making their own Article I powers irrelevant. Some Democrats in Congress have finally begun to speak out after realizing that proclaiming that they really can't do anything, other than raise mildly worded paddles and send "strongly worded" letters, because they are in the minority in both the House and Senate just isn't cutting it.

Hope to see many of the Contrarian community and millions more joining in the nationwide protests on April 5th. I will be in protesting in NYC, along with my husband, friends and countless others.

"Gabbard even suggested she wasn’t sure whether such messages should be classified—a stunning admission for the person overseeing the entire intelligence community." This is not a surprise to anyone watching Tulsi Gabbard over the last 9 years, nor anyone looking at the composition of the Felon's cabinet. Like the Felon Tulsi Gabbard loves Putin, met with Assad and regurgitated Russian talking points and never been involved in national security in any job held. The only condition for being a cabinet member is loyalty to the Felon. Along with Gabbard, there's the head of DHS who announced DHS is going to shut down FEMA. The head of HHS is consistent in is moves against science and Americans are going to die as a result. The heads of NSA and CIA proved their ignorance and complete incompetence in their testimony before the Intel Committee concerning the use of Signal.

The Sec Def is the most incompetent of them all. This is the guy who convinced the Felon to pardon war criminals during the Felon's first administration. The White Supremacist Christian Nationalist directed DoD to delete anything concerning DEI. His direction resulted in deleting references to Jackie Robinson and the Tuskegee Airmen. The guy doesn't have a clue as to what he is doing. He bankrupted two veterans volunteer groups (this is probably why the Felon chose him as Sec Def - with the Felon's 6 bankruptcies, he probably figured Hegseth and he were like minded).

Like many here, while working in the private sector, I had the privilege of working with quite a few high-level US government officials in the State Department, USDA, DOD, and Commerce. My experiences took me to foreign countries, where we collectively negotiated multilateral agreements, sometimes sensitively. Those experiences happened during the 2 Bush administrations and the Clinton Administration. Those experiences left me with pride and respect for the high level of quality, knowledge, preparedness, professionalism, and moral character demonstrated by our US Government partners.

The performance of the US Government Intelligence officials in front of the Senate shocked me deep to my core. These people don't appear to possess the core knowledge of their jobs. Mr. Hegseth needs to resign immediately and seek treatment because he is way out of his league. Who in the world is Tulsi Gabbard? How does a DNI Director who can't answer simple questions and does not know the DOD levels of security clearances and their meaning think that she is worthy of serving the country? Mr. Ratcliffe, as CIA Director, looked clueless and sounded stupidly defensive. He should resign immediately, given the deeply critical essence of his job! I could go on, but why waste more words on this pathetic group that represents the team defending our National Security? They have been exposed, but critically, we, as a country where our families and children grow together into communities where we worship, serve, educate, and love each other, are now massively exposed to anyone who wishes ill upon us. This can't stand! We need to have a full investigation of this national security breach and the extent of the Trump Administration's use of private phones and other cryptic messaging services in its attempt to shield itself from accountability to the American people! And if they're using private servers, then I say, "Lock'em Up!"

(And just to be small, we should immediately stop funding Trump's golf and country club visits and spa treatments until Musk is sent back to his burning car lots.)

Testifying to significant lapses of memory regarding the content of the Signal chat, I suspect Ms. Gabbard was hopeful this gossamer transparency was enough to cover her obvious incompetence when attempting to disguise her mendacity. Another case where the coverup makes the original criminal behavior even worse.

It has been reported that a recent political appointee some time ago directed DOD to install Signal on government devices, notwithstanding DOD policy. It has also been reported that Russia penetrated Signal in Ukraine when it was being used by Ukrainian soldiers. I first assumed this simply indicated how stupid the person who authorized this and all its users are. Another theory is emerging: Signal was used because of its auto-delete feature. In other words, no matter what nefarious schemes the US leaders were plotting, there would be no record after the fact.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) called Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth a “f‑‑‑ing liar” and demanded his resignation, after the top military official repeatedly insisted he did not share classified information and war plans in an unsecured group text message.

Duckworth — a combat veteran, former Black Hawk helicopter pilot and member of the Senate Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees — said Hegseth put the lives of American service members in danger by discussing the timing and sequencing of U.S. attacks targeting the Houthis in Yemen in early March. I took particular note of "According to a Tuesday report from NPR, days after Goldberg was accidentally looped into the Signal chat, the Pentagon issued a department-wide advisory warning against using the app—even for unclassified information—citing Russian hacking groups exploiting its “linked devices” feature. The memo reinforced a 2023 directive already prohibiting Signal’s use for non-public official business." Wow, how much more damning can it get that this group of national security bozos used the Signal app. They all should be canned ... the minimizing of the threat by those involved and those GOP Congressional members looking the other way is so wrong.
