When I noticed the cuts at the federal level to election security, my first thought was something along the lines of "Of course DJT did ... that's consistent with his other cuts to anything that involved oversight". And I would not be surprised if he or his handlers also want to break into the election systems or at least sow distrust by the public.
A frightening article that points the finger directly at Trump and his administration and tells us that Trump's minions do not care about election security because they don't care about our voting now that they have taken over.
We’ve had scantron type ballots for as long as I can remember. I have always lived in the same state but in a different county. The county where I lived in high school came out and registered the seniors just before they graduated. When I moved around to different counties all I was required to do was transfer the registration to the new county where I moved to. So I never had to re-register to vote.
We’ve had paper ballots for a long time here in Washington. We can mail them in or put into a drop box so we have to be thinking of post office and drop box security issues. One year two drop boxes in the state were set on fire, so vigilance is needed. It’s sad and alarming, but at least it gets citizens to think about voting in a democracy.
Republicons will stop at nothing to ensure only republicon votes count in the future.

MAGA is more concerned about preventing women and minorities from voting.
