I don't know that these actions have flown under the radar so much as just gotten lost in the tsunami of corruption flowing from the Oval Office.

Here's another outrage from yesterday's All Things Considered. Amir Makled, a U.S. citizen and Michigan attorney, was detained by CBP going through customs this week. His offense? He is representing one of the students charged in connection with pro-Palestinian protests.

Just a reminder it could happen to any of us.

It’s so blatant and corrupt, it is almost hard to believe. But these pardons etc are overshadowed by all the other blatant and corrupt acts of a deplorable person who occupies the office his cult rigged an election to gain.

“ The abuse of power is in full swing here in Trump’s twisted world, where white-collar criminals are victims and public servants are the villains.”

So true! Well said!

The orange felon's administrations (1.0 and 2.0) will already go down in history as the most corrupt ever. Only now, during OF 2.0, the Senate, the House AND the so-called supreme court will also be known as the most corrupt in the history of the United States of America.

BBBM - Bondi, Blanche, Bove, and Martin. They've rejected honor for personal loyalty. I guess they want to believe that Trump actually cares about them. While they figure out that he doesn't, they'll be selling the rest of us down the moral and legal river. I wish their optimistic and conscientious selves when first sworn in as attorneys would resurface.

I don't think conscientious people would behave the way Bondi, Bove et all behave. I think their true colors are only now showing. The entire Cabinet is beholden to their dear leader, and only to him. So far, the only checks and balances are from the judicial branch of our government.

I think Paul Weiss should represent anyone being subjected to Trump’s revenge pro bono.

Someone needs to whisper in the Dear Leader's ear that shrouds have no pockets. Or maybe he thinks that his wealth will follow him to hell. Maybe he will be buried in a pyramid like the Pharaohs with all of his wealth around him? Can't wait to find out.

After Trump's misuse of the pardon power in his first term, Congress needed to put guardrails around that power, even if it would take a constitutional amendment. Too much of our Constitution depends on people behaving ethically to uphold justice against people who do not behave ethically. Laws are needed when basic human decency has gone out the window.

These people don’t deserve respect when they follow illegal directives from the orange felon. Their careers should effectively be over preferably before the end of this administration but surely when their term ends.

This is just nauseating. He is so blatantly corrupt and his party doesn’t care.
