I hope everyone watches the interview with our Arkansan Dr. Chris Jones. Doctorate from MIT, no less. He ran against the world champion liar Huckabee Sanders for Governor of Arkansas in 2022. Unfortunately he lost, no thanks to the national Democratic party giving him little to no support, He is a very smart and personable individual. I met him back in 2022 and supported and voted for him, but no chance against these bigots here.
He ran the town hall in March, which was held here in Little Rock in the fascist rep French Hill's district. It had a huge overflowing crowd.
In this podcast with April, he basically pointed out all the same things as I wrote in my post yesterday, plus a few more very good points about what is happening in this reddest of all states (in my opinion). Please watch, if you possibly can.
Dr Jones is going to help save this country! Arkansas lost when it did not elect him governor. Things are pretty Nazi in North Carolina too,where I live.
Staying on message would be a very good thing. Those messages are environmental safety of air and water, and taxpayer programs. We all agree that tax cuts and increased deficit are wrong policies. We want people to have healthcare and food. We want retired Americans to have social security benefits. What I am not seeing/hearing anywhere is how to fund these programs. Removing tax cuts won't fund the programs and cut deficit.
