Thank you for helping me understand this subject better. Even though I am older and live in a populated area, I grieve that healthcare for women will be lessened and eliminated for others. It saddens me that people don’t care more about others enough to get in the fight.

I know the Contrarians believe in the power of the judiciary to help us solve today's problems with racism, facism, authoratarianism etc., but the (no longer) Supreme Court will not hold the line. They clearly do NOT believe in the constitution as today's decisions clearly show. They make shit up whenever they want a case to go the "right" way. They are not only part of the problem, but a huge contributor to the problems we face. To me this means our democracy is doomed, and it is already too late. When do we take up arms and fight to preserve America? Just where is that line? We have the DHS behaving like the SS, ignoring laws everywhere, and getting away with it. Will the civil war start in Chicago, with law enforcement taking up arms against ICE? Do you really think democracy in America will be in place by the end of this year? I don't.

It is getting really ridiculous that this Supreme Court (and president) is making up things instead of following the laws and legal definitions, and changing precedent when it not called for in usual circumstances.

This infuriates me! Planned Parenthood is about a lot more than abortion and pregnancy prevention. It is primary healthcare for some women. This is so wrong on so many levels!

Just about everything SCOTUS does is bad law. You have to look no further than Dobbs.

The arrogance of the shameless six as they play semantic games with the law and the Constitution is appallingly disgraceful. But hey, clearly, Leonard Leo got his money's worth when he bought them.

Unfortunately, we seem to have too many uneducated people who cannot consider the ramifications of their narrow and hateful views.

Comment from a layman..... there is nothing "conservative" about those 6 "not-so-supreme" justices who are on a mission to support the guy who'll destroy everything.

So, not much "conservation" there.

Please buy/borrow Ms. Litman's book. It clearly explains how the court stacks the deck and perverts the law to meet their political agenda. It is shameful how they operate.
