>>"Biden’s opposition was essential to mitigating what would have been an even worse humanitarian situation in Gaza. However, Trump, in contradiction to American values, supports it."
There it is in a nutshell. President Biden provided food and water to the Gaza refugees and got no credit for it. Instead he was called "Genocide Joe" and the pro-Palestinian faction of the Dems boycotted Kamala and they were a big help to hand the election to Trump.
What's next? More ethnic cleansing with Trump supplying the ammunition to his buddy "Bibi" Netanyahu. When Gaza is cleared out, then Trump and Jared can build Mar-a-Gaza with lots of luxury condos for their rich friends.
'Netanyahu’s rationale is that this is the way to get the hostages out. But family members of hostages'. This is shameful. Netanyahu is a nazi, has been a nazi, orchestrating a genocide of biblical proportions. I am heartbroken to read this biased analysis here, on this platform,.Please pause to reflect on the tragedy of Palestine, which is in rubbles, with 50000 people killed in some 18 months, so many children and women - and one keeps talking of Hamas, as if this was a war between 2 armies. We speak od decades of apartheid, with Gaza being basically the world's largest concentration campo.
This seems to be The Contrarian’s one blind spot. What is happening in Gaza is genocide, pure and simple. I can’t imagine what it must have been like on Election Day for any Palestinian Americans, though any who either voted against Biden or didn’t vote at all were clearly making a terrible mistake for their own cause.
True, But what is then the difference between us here and supporters of Trump who refuse to acknowledge facts? Most evil comes from banality of needing to belong to a group that is blinded by one reason or another. How can we judge or fight the others, if we behave in similar manner?
Did you know that the word genocide didn’t exist until the Nuremberg trials. The word was created by a young Jewish lawyer because there was nothing to describe what had happened prior. But sure get your news from the Hamas ministry of health.
I haven't seen any enthusiasm from Gaza in eradicating their terrorist leadership. Hamas flaunted itself in hostage release publicity stunts with their rifles and face coverings. Which critical aspect of the agreement has Netanyahu reneged on? It's not clear from this article. I would have really liked to have seen all hostages released. I would have liked to see Ronen Bar NOT fired.
What do you expect them to do- really? HAMAS is an armed force living in their midst. You have 2 million people who have no shelter, no food, they have suffered more than 40,000+ dead with another 60,000 to 70,000 severely injured. They are starving and demoralized, and you expect them to undertake some kind of uprising against an armed force with weapons, food, and bunkers?
Be realistic
The Israeli government is continuing the war because Netanyahu needs the war to stay in power.
At this point, more bombing just bounces rubble and the bodies of children into the air
I was surprised to discover that Israelis rank 8th in the 2025 World Happiness Report, despite all the shocking things we have been witnessing and reading about Israel, Netanyahu and what is taking place in Gaza and the West Bank.
I understand the Happiness Report uses other parameters. I understand there are a million diverse but interlocked factors that play out in the situation in the Middle-East conflict. But there is one basic thing I do know: that I certainly could not feel very happy knowing that my country is intentionally starving and bombing innocent people (and I am NOT taking sides with Hamas by saying this). It's simply a question of staying "human" and "humane", before being "happy".
From what I have read and seen much of what is happening to Palestinians in thr West Bank and Gaza is simply not reported by Israeli media. If that is true then Israeli citizens are not getting an accurate picture.
Thr Palestinians in Gazahave been blockaded, had electricity cut off by Israeli governments and treated like sh*t for decades. (That's in addition to a feeble and corrupt governing authority )
Does anyone think that the policy of the Netanyahu government is going to insure Israel 's security?
The U.S. has been doing this to people for centuries both here and abroad. Where’s the outrage at home? Or for that matter the Uyghurs, Armenians, African countries. I would have more respect for you if you just said you hate Jews.

That’s exactly what American Jews who voted for Trump want. As a Jewish woman, and Zionist, those people make me sick.

Here is an example of objective reporting, by a human being who feels solidarity and empathy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qfxam5Z_EHM

You obviously did not understand my message.
Bibi keeps bombing because T want the cheapest way to clear land for his amusement park on Gaza— it’s so disgusting
