Zelda,

So sadly, such an appropriate quote.

He was a wordsmith with a message.

Thank you for that point of reference.

Did Laura Loomer have anything to do with this? A lunatic and 9-11 denier.

Thank you for this posting! I strongly agree with you. Timing is critically important for a joint statement to be effective. Silence will sadly enough normalize what is deeply troubling, and the opportunity to be effective will be lost. I hope this does not happen.

Here's a conspiracy theory (and it might not be a conspiracy theory) for you all. For the four years the Felon was out of office the NSA determined the Felon is a Russian Agent and had numerous communications with Putin. General Haugh from Cyber Command so that Putin could continue to hack into United States elections. Wendy Noble was removed from NSA for fear she might leak communications between the Felon and Putin to the press, showing the Felon to be the traitor that he is.

Today we have another ideologically based firing, of Vice Adm. Shoshanna Chatfield. “Chatfield, a helicopter pilot, had said at a Women’s Equality Day celebration in 2015 that “our diversity is our strength” — a phrase Hegseth publicly denounced in February as the “single dumbest” in military history. Upon becoming president of the Naval War College in 2019 during Trump’s first term, Chatfield said that she wanted to see members of her team respect one another for their differences and diversity.” (Washington Post)

Don't forget to include Admiral William H. McRaven, who has also spoken out. I pray that the military doesn't go the way of the House, the Senate, and the Judiciary. If so, we're sunk.

Speculation?

Do you doubt that he is purging the military of those loyal to the Constitution, in favor of those loyal to him?:

I believe they swore an oath to obey their commander in chief, who unfortunately happens to be a psychopathic traitor. If there is a military coup to save this country from this traitor, I wouldn't be too unhappy.

Nope, I just looked it up. Here's what I found:

Military personnel swear allegiance to the Constitution and serve the American people – not one leader or party

So what happens when a General disobeys orders from their Commander in Chief?

I would say that depends entirely on the Commander in Chief and the circumstances.

The only circumstances I believe that will save a military person from punishment would be if they were violating the Geneva Convention. Then it would depend on who is President at the time. Trump doesn't care about the law. This shows you what can happen:

Would such a collective letter by former commanders help? I can see the imperative attempt for such an action as I read this article. Another clearly thought out writing for us to consider. Thank you.

I endorse this proposal. The class of officers who know what power is about must work to dispel Trump tyranny.
