Well done. I’m waiting for the go ahead for Vote Forward letters. I was active for Tony Evers and Janet Protesiewicz (and wow that name is worse than my own. I write with a pen name).

Also contact Tony the Democrat at postcardstovoters.org. You supply the postcards and postage. I use 4x6 heavy duty index cards. Just follow their instructions.

I've ordered 100 postcards. I hope they send me ideas for what to put on the postcards. I've seen a few. Some are too fancy for me to produce in a timely manner.

Postcards to voters.org is writing for Susan Crawford. They give you the script, which is short and sweet. Only 3 main points that must be included.

I sent 100 postcards all over the country before the presidential election in 2024. We were suggested to write our own statement. I came up with “your vote is your voice, use it”. It was quick & easy to write that. In your case I’d suggest “your vote is your voice, use it to protect democracy”.

And thanks for you volunteerism.

Thanks again! But why not say something positive about Judge Susan?

I think they have likely identified the recipients as past, current or likely democratic voters and you really don’t want to tell voters what to do-but exercising their right to vote needs to be encouraged to protect the rule of law & to protect democracy. But do whatever they want you to do; write whatever they suggest you write.

Hi, Bette. You will be given the required script to write, so you don’t have to come up with the message.

Go to postcardstovoters.org. There is an easy application process. Once approved, you can then start writing and you will receive emails when new writing campaigns come up.

Great summary of the challenge and opportunity Ben! For those from other states who can afford the time and travel expense I urge you to join with a group of folks organized by Common Power. I've participated in a number of CP teams of people from all over the country under the CP banner. We work closely with the WisDems and you are put to work in well-organized teams to knock on doors in critical districts of Milwaukee and other nearby cities. Plus you are joining a community to likeminded people and it is FUN! You'll be glad you signed up. Nothing like being face to face with voters who can make the difference. https://commonpower.org/events/2025/3/28/wisconsin-spring-election-trip

I'm still trying to figure out the Mrat's bleat about voting MAGA will "prevent voter fraud." Unless the Afrikaner from hell is omnipotent, there is no way of knowing the outcome until the ballot count. In fact, his bleat makes me very wary that, in deed, MAGA is very capable of committing voter fraud, as they have done in the past and continue to do. The only way to keep the Afrikaner from having his way is to assure that the turnout is so overwhelming the results will withstand any garbage thrown by MAGA.

"Musk joined the fray this week by contributing more than $2 million in ad buys attacking Susan Crawford"

There is a way to defeat "President" Musk - stop buying his stuff. boycott the hell out of his products (read: Tesla cars) and make it cost him.

Yes I know that he still has a lot of government contracts, but at the rate he blows up his rockets, that money will run out too...

"They’ve ignored plainly written laws, made a mockery of the Congressional power of the purse, and even threatened to ignore federal court orders. "

Don't forget the death threats their minions use to force hesitant politicians to fall into line. See Senator Thom Tillis, who was going to vote against Pete Hegseth until he received death threats from MAGA.

Joan (CA)'s avatar

You can donate to Judge Crawford’s campaign or to Wisconsin democrats, do phone banking thru Wisconsin Democrats, or write postcards to get out the vote (try Third Act, or Activate America - both seem to have postcard campaigns for her).

Great article, Mr. Wikler. I have made a donation through ActBlue meant for Judge Crawford, but the acknowledgement I received said my donation went to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin Operating Account. I sure hope that donation made it to Just Crawford's campaign and is not eaten up for some other purpose.

Sharon, I used the following website:

But, as I said, the confirmation I received from ActBlue said the donation went to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin Operating Account. One can only hope the funds will actually be forwarded to Judge Crawford.

Thanks for this article and important info about what’s happening in Wisconsin. We have our own problems here in NC. I’ve put the link for Actblue Judge Crawford below. I made a donation. I’m confident we can get more than 2mill for her from the 500k contrarian crowd if we all give a little. 10 each raises 5 million. Let’s go for it and see what happens

People better start realizing that we are dealing with a truly madman who, with his now appointed FBI Director, will likely destroy every aspect of American life and our nation in less than 4 years. I've heard and can believe that Congress members have had their lives (and their families?) threatened (as in, "bad thing could happen if you don't support our president.") This may be a time for a call to arms, but guess who have all the arms? Fancy columns may not be sufficient to stain staunch the destruction.

Thanks, Ben. I've worked with both Susan and Schimel. It's not even close in terms of personal integrity, fidelity to the law, practicality, intelligence, and decency, Susan's the only one who deserves to sit on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Schimel will do the kind of damage that'll take decades to undo. Susan's campaign should run nonstop ads of Schimel and Musk together, showing Schimel as the Muskpuppet he is.
