What about discussing the company and contractor doing the demolition on the People's House? What would they have to say about destroying a nation's imagery/symbology for its democracy? The company reportedly doing demolition on the White House East Wing is ACECO, a construction and demolition company based in Silver Spring, Maryland. The Business Journals reports that Clark Construction is serving as the project's general contractor.

Watch out for that stature in New York Harbor.

That is: "statue," though somehow "stature" works also.

I read this newsletter daily, and appreciate more than I can express your essential work. You get facts and truth out to people like us who seek it. BUT,

WE (your readers) understand what is happening . This president and his enablers are destroying this country. They are taking it down, piece by piece, just as they are demolishing the East Wing, so they can replace it with a modern day Golden Calf. At least that's the way I see it.

We must somehow reach many millions among the 70 million Trump voters, plus mind-numbed non-voters, and "independents", and make them understand that their country is being torn into shambles as they passively go about their daily routines. Sooner or later the destruction WILL affect their lives. It will affect their pocketbooks. It will destroy their jobs and their kids' ability to pursue good lives. It will inevitably result in widespread unnecessary illness and death from preventable disease. People they know and love will be thrown into chains for speaking or writing , o r even endorsing, the "wrong" words. They WILL be hurt . We must make them understand this.

Maybe we need to enlist the understanding/expertise of social psychologists and professional communicators to help us understand how to make the masses of people in this country see reality(?) 7 million strong demonstrating opposition last weekend is thrilling and awesome, but it won't stop the destruction. We need many millions more to understand and send the message to the GOP to cease the destruction of our country. Thank you for listening to my rant.

As of today, Trump is most vulnerable viscerally, and Trumpepstein may be the vehicle to bring Congressional Republicans to their senses. Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) tweeted about an "Epstein bomb" about to drop; over 100 Republican members might "jailbreak" from Trump.

Massive Congressional visits November 18.

We are running after djt, but will not catch up until we understand that the destruction of the East Wing is just the start. He built it in an outsized manner, which told me that in the near term he will destroy the rest of the White House and rebuild in a similar size!

This tells us he is planning on staying in power until either he dies or is forcefully removed, or both!

I know which I would prefer.

It is no surprise that white evangelical Christians have become more racist than they have ever been. They just about always talk a good talk and lecturing everyone else about the constitution yet their ignorance or hypocrisy is just astounding. Trump has no moral compass and they turn a blind eye to what is really happening in the real world. I am very disgusted by them. What else was interesting in this interview with Jen and Robby Jones is that it’s not just young people who are leaving evangelical churches but it’s also women. The two groups that have been most affected by the SBC and the Catholic church as well even though they are non-evangelical.

The likes of Jerry Falwell and others are who we have to thank for corrupting our most sacred religious institutions.

Too bad they aren't forcing the issue re IVF because a significant part of his base, the evangelicals, see fertilized eggs as 'babies'. I challenge these trumpers every chance I get to march and protest outside IVF clinics since they should be concerned about all the 'babies' trapped in deep freeze suspended animation. And, think of how many are 'killed' when excess are tossed with the petri dishes into the biohazard bags. If they want to criminalize women using oral morning after or plan B, they should stop being obtuse about IVF.

Trump is society’s way of saying our system of government is broke, and needs to be reimagined. While we need to stay focused on Trump’s continued demonstration of all the broken parts, we need to put forth what a reimagined system would look like. This reimagined system should be inclusive and not exclusive so it can be supported by the vast majority of the people. What do the people want? Perhaps the contrarian could devote some words that will help birth this new idea.
