We all.know Trump doesn't understand the orders he's signing. Even if he did, he wouldn't care. I see the maliciousness of Stephen Miller in this.

Correct. Miller is the 1 largely in charge. Note the iorny: trump's very orange skin color and multiple disabilities make him a double minority. So he's discriminating against himself in some ways.

And today he welcomed 49 white Afrikaners today as “refugees”.

Ending civil rights; and further, preferencing white, male, Christian, cis gender.

Clearly, these people have nothing better to do than sit around and try to figure out ways to diminish other people. How can they possibly enjoy even the smallest elements of daily life? Their coffee must taste particularly bitter.

Hogwash!

Trump has NOT "exceeded his authority by effectively nullifying a law passed by Congress and ignoring Supreme Court decisions that have upheld the use of disparate-impact litigation. " The SCOTUS had already killed "disparate impact" in several recent cases because it was a theory perversely concocted from the Civil Rights Act.

I loathe Trump and his many violations of the Constitution, but this is not one of those.

Like so many of Trump's executive orders, this one is based on distortions and half truths. As a retired social science analyst for EEOC, I was often consulted by field office attorneys who had already formed a theory of the case suggesting a particular pattern or practice led to employment discrimination. My job was to analyze company data received during preliminary investigations to see if there was a statistical case of adverse impact that supported their theory. If the theory wasn't supported, the attorney usually closed the investigation without ever taking the case to court. If adverse impact was statistically supported, the respondent had the opportunity to hire experts to show the flaws in my analysis. To demonize adverse impact analysis as unrebuttable and unfair when it is used in the context of a class action lawsuit is utter nonsense.
