If the Democratic Party is going to fight back against Trump, I think women need to be the standard bearer. Trump can’t handle strong intelligent women, and the Party has a lot of them. He can’t resist any prods or pokes from women.

Ah heck, Bill, why not just say we’re better at this shit. 😉 We have been treated las 2nd class citizens for too long. And that of course means women of color, like Jasmine Crockett, lead the pack.

TBH, a group of both willing to *collaborate* would be the best. RIP DEI.

Sadly, my state, North Carolina is one of the few that has NOT ratified the national ERA. But maybe the introduction of a State ERA, as mentioned by the author, could be an issue that could be used to talk to voters across parties. A Trojan Horse to get past voters division into R and D.

Gender affirming care goes far beyond putting young people on puberty blockers for the purpose of sex change surgery. Sometimes it’s necessary for children or adolescents to be on puberty blockers due to precocious puberty. A surge in hormones especially in young girls can cause premature sexualization by adults because they look older than they are but it’s not just that early puberty causes children to not reach their adult height because the growth plates seal off prematurely and may also contribute to health issues later on in life. Other children and adolescents may actually need hormone therapy to induce puberty particularly if it is delayed. I have a cousin who had to have hormonal therapy at 13 or 14 because she looked like a fourth or fifth grader. After a few years she began to develop and look more normal for her age albeit she was small and petite but at least more normal looking and it did a world of good for her her physically and mentally and especially socially. Who could deny a young person such necessary care? Cruelty is the point.

"...Maine Gov. Janet Mills stood in opposition to the executive order banning trans athletes from women’s sports, informing Donald Trump that she’d see him in court. *** Meanwhile, the U.S. Departments of Education, Agriculture and Health and Human Services have commenced multiple investigations that threaten denial of federal funding to the state."

"What's good for the goose is good for the gander." It's time for every state threatened in this manner by the White House Mafiosi - whether actually or just potentially so far - to withhold its citizens' contributions to the federal "government"'s coffers. Make no mistake, these are overwhelmingly the Giver States, putting in far more revenue than they receive in return. Let Hair Furor and his MuskTrumpler Youth figure out how to keep their pet Taker States afloat. "Starve the beast."

Remember how forceful FF47 was about how much he lives women, would protect them, and other garbage? How did that work out for any of us? When his lips are moving, he’s lying. What else is new?

Shame on rhe Republican Party that is now under the dominance of the Heritage Foundation and GOP leadership.. It is no longer the Party of Abraham Lincoln who stood for personal freedom (democracy) an. ed independence.

It seems that he GOP and Heritage Foundation are going out of their way to prove they want to abolish our democracy and the Constitution. so that they can establish authoritarianism, the antithesis of the premise thath our Founding Fathers wanted for this country. Furthermore, they are using a mentally ill man, Donald J. Trump, who, obviously. suffers from narcissism, to further their ambitious agenda.

They can't possibly want their family to live without personal liberty or independence.! Then why would they vote for enslavement of others in America? Doing so is traitorous, especially to elected officials' oath of office.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I like this idea of state ERAs. Unfortunately, I live in TX which turned Republican some years back and is overly MAGA plus. The strong gerrymandering makes it extremely difficult for votes other than Repubs to ever count.
