Is there any greater ambition than to spit in the eye of a monster and retire to a small, quiet life?

Just continuous joy, character and optimism from two brainy, exuberant women. Thank you for bringing back the bounce!

Just finished her book. Fabulous that Jean was the only one in America to nail trump in his lies and threats!

So inspiring. Thank you Jen. It’s so easy to lose faith and your conversation with E. Jean reminded me that women have always found a way to fight back. It’s not been perfect. I can only hope that we can unite — all of us, white, Black, Brown, etc, to alter the path we are on.

I read E. Jean Carroll's advice column in Elle for years and was horrified when they fired her for telling the truth. Her column was the best thing in the magazine. I cancelled my subscription and never went back. Loved your interview and can't wait to read her book.

Omg! The mock jury thought an "ugly" woman wouldn't say no. Horrifying but then hilarious because you make it so.

Sorry I ran out of time today to read this piece & I can later.

Wanted to take a second to respond to the statement, “Donald Trump has great moral influence on this country, not only on this country, but around the world. His moral influence has changed the way we see what's good and bad"

Nothing could be further from the truth 🤨 The only way a moral degenerate like Trump could set a standard is if WE DIDN’T ALREADY HAVE A STANDARD— hoping this article clarifies this statement. In these times we don’t need to follow the least common denominator 🥴

Unfortunately, I have to agree with E. Jean Carroll. Of course, most of us had a standard already, but he HAS empowered many in this country and in the world to think it is perfectly alright to lie, cheat, steal, be inhumane and cruel and show utmost contempt for those less fortunate than these f/tools.

Just look at some of those "leaders" around the world who kiss his ass just as much as his mob underlings do in this country. Best case in point: Keir Starmer of the UK.

You of course are entitled to agree with her…

I would argue with your suggestion that ‘most of us HAD a standard’. My standards aren’t past tense, I still have them🤩

Sorry, I didn't express myself clearly. What I meant to say was: most of us have always had standards and still do, but he HAS.....

I hope this is more clear to you.
