"The most racist decision since Plessy".

Yes.

Trump administration deportations lead to rise in abandoned family pets [WPLG]

Abandoned kids, too, I imagine. The trickle-down is something that is rarely calculated. It's all heart-breaking. We're smart people; we could find another way to solve this "problem."

Thanks so much Shalise for not holding back, and speaking truth to the deep unconstitutional racism of this shadow decision.

This court is not on the side of the Constitution, nor that of democracy. We need to gear up for a long battle to right the imbalance. Not gonna be easy, or quick, but it must happen.

We must start the process of removing from office all those with absolutely no moral or ethical compass.

We need to get started NOW!

Stanley Krute's avatar

What is your practical will.actually.work plan for doing so ?

There is no fullprof way to tell one what morality is, but there is a way to tell one what morality isn't. They are called laws. What is morally or ethically right is something that one picks up from their parents and significant others. After they grow up and fail to acquire a moral or ethical compass, these people seem to find themselves being limited constantly by laws and those who do have a sense of right or wrong.

Elections presupposes that voters will naturally gravitate toward the election of people who have this ingrained sense of right and wrong. But, obviously this did not happen with the election of Trump and the MAGA right.

So, a practical will.actually.work plan?

Removal from office of those whose sense of "right" and "wrong" is causing harm to our country, as is now the case with Trump and the MAGA right.

Your "right" to do this is the harm you can point to and the laws that have been broken. But there has to be someone to stand up and have the guts to say his "right" is wrong.

A Democrat in the House should file Articles of Impeachment against Thomas and Alito. Both of them have accepted some very extravagant gratuities from billionaires who have had, may currently have, or are likely to have direct interests in cases before the SCOTUS.

And if accepting extravagant gratuities doesn't meet then definition of "high Crimes and Misdemeanors" then nothing will.

Sure those articles would go nowhere in a GQP controlled House, but by House rules they'd have to move to the front of the queue for action. And also it would show the base that the House Democrats aren't asleep at the switch.

Nicely worded. We have got to find a way to get rid of the ugliness that has roared its head in our land of immigrants.
