I love to hear about other Jew-'ish' families who celebrated Christmas! I grew up in Cincinnati. My German-Jewish ancestors arrived mid-1800s and just wanted to be like their neighbors. We celebrated all the Jewish holidays but also Christmas. Big tree up to the ceiling! Lots of decorations. And we baked kipful for Santa! No Christmas for probably 45 yrs but I have the ornaments up in the attic. Who knows if a grandson might marry someone who celebrates Christmas and could use them. Secret....I still miss it!
